Petrou Brothers are award winning experts at fish and chips. The chatteris site opened in 1984 and won the UK Seafish Industry Authority title of Number 1 Fish and Chip Shop of The Year in 2007.
Sourcing their fish responsibly from sustainable stocks, so that customers can choose Cod and other species with a clear conscience - knowing that there will be plenty of fish in the sea for generations to come is only part of the story.
Potatoes are sourced locally to keep food miles low and staff are locally employed people as well to ensure that money spent in the shop goes back into the local economy.
All packaging is environmentally friendly and single use plastics are being replaced too. Not only that, The frying equipment is the very latest HE pan technology which has a low carbon footprint and allows the Petrou Brothers to produce fish and chips with an incredibly low 7% fat content and typically 400 calories for a mini fish meal and 750 calories for a regular fish, chips and peas..
This App has been developed with an exclusive menu that is not available to eat in or buy over the counter. You can only click and collect at a time that suits you or have it delivered. Our App stays open late once the express counter and sit-down has closed.
Our pizza dough is pressed out to order and baked fresh on demand. Our burgers, fish cakes, batter and pulled pork are all Petrou Brothers recipes, made on the premises and exclusive to us.
We have an ingredient clean declaration with no hidden nasties, colourings, flavourings or enhancers.
We cater for all dietary requirements too and have an allergen matrix in store and on line for your peace of mind and information.
