Fans of YouTube celebrity PewDiePie will have a blast playing as him and his friends in this retro-themed sidescroller. Sprinkled with funny dialogue and surprising twists, the game is as wonderfully manic and goofy as his legendary videos. In your inexplicable battle with an army of barrels, you’ll go everywhere from the superstar’s home to a freeway chase to a dogfight in the clouds—unlocking new attacks and battling fearsome bosses.
So much fun!
It's a cute platformer with incredible art!! I finished it in about a week and a half on and off but it has so much replayablity such as completing it on all the different difficulty settings and collecting all the patches! You also have a mini game once completed I think or it, was always their and I didn't notice! Definitely worth every penny and it wasn't expensive either considering it's recent competitors such as the new Mario, the only thing I would say is that when choosing different difficulties the hearts should either go down or enemies increase, having both feels impossible but it's a challenge I guess!! Otherwise it's an incredible app!!!
Fantastic
PewDiePie is a polarising figure, to say the least. You either love him or hate him. Personally, I like his videos. However, I was sceptical about the game. Usually YouTuber games are cash cows, except for Katatak of course. However, this is the best iOS platformer I've ever played. (Limbo is awesome, but I play that on PC)
The controls are tight, the gameplay is satisfying, and best of all, this is actually challenging. Expect no microtransactions. You get everything for the asking price. My only issue is that it's a bit short, but Outerminds is a small studio, so I can look past that. This is an essential, for PewDiePie fans and non-fans alike.
