It's incredibly fast and responsive, your media fits fluidly right into your viewport, of course also in fullscreen mode.
*** Quick Controls ***
A simple controls panel and lots of shortcuts for browsing, rotating, play/pause, toggle fullscreen, toggle info panel and much more is built right in. And hey, it's also possible to rotate videos.
*** File Information / Exif Data Viewer ***
For any of your media you can toggle the info panel to see detailed information and Exif data for example. Phiewer also displays most common RAW camera image formats.
*** Multimedia Slideshow ***
Just hit the Slideshow play button to view your media folders automated with nice transition effects and background music. You can set the interval speed of each slide, choose transition effects and select your music from really cool handpicked background tracks. There is also the possibility to select your own music from your hard drive.
Setting the Slideshow to loop and you will have endless running Memories. You can even play videos and audio mixed within your Slideshow and the music gets automatically dimmed or muted for a nice Media Center like entertainment experience.

Backdrop ambience is a stunning viewing effect. It turns the whole interface background into a blurred ambience like you may have seen in lots of videos on the web.

It could be good but it's far too buggy
I'll be upfront and say I am using Catalina, which this says is compatible with, but elements kept disappearing & I wasn't getting much of a response when I clicked on "start slideshow".
Also, if you want to "delete" an image from the slideshow, it will delete it at the source folder it came from too, so I had to redownload the one that I lost. Godforbid anyone deletes something unrecoverable.
This has a lot of potential, and could potentially be better on more modern OS, but it's not very good in its current state. I ended up using Keynote for my needs in the end, which I forgot existed.
Great program but very slow
Takes a really long time when initally loading an image (like 2 seconds at least) which is very annoying, but once you are in its a great little program. I was looking for something to replace photo browser from windows and this is basiclly it. If only they could improve the speed a little it would be perfect. Real shame.
Great Little productivity app for anyone working with images
If you use reference images for drawing, design, 3d Work etc and you want an app that isn’t intrusive with clanky interface this is a great app. Apps comes with 2 colour themes. I personally prefer the dark theme which seamlessly blends with my other apps ie photoshop, zbrush and cinema 4d. Smart and simple interface design. Granted i know more can be done to improve the app but its free lol.
