Shame
This app used to be so popular. It's my main source of wholesome news from back home, being an OFW. But iOS8 rendered it useless, and no one from Philstar seem bothered to get rid of the bug. Shame big time for an otherwise awesome app.
The Best Ever
A lot of newspapers would say they are free but its just the app thats free and you have to pay for the subscription to read the actual print. This app is free no strings attach..just free anuduletered news from Manila! I live far from the Philippines and whatever news/article that I can read about my country makes me feel connected to home. And I feel less homesick Thank you very much for this awesome app. MABUHAY!!!!!!
Don't bother
I downloaded this app to keep track of the latest Philippine news.
It was so annoying that I deleted it after a few minutes.
THE ADS WERE RELENTLESS. Flashing and constantly changing.
It occupies a chunk of the screen including a strip which doesn't really need to be there.
The most annoying thing is once you've opened the main news you want to read, you can't find the icon to go back to the main news. NOT USER FRIENDLY. You have to tap several times to capture it as it goes too quick, that is, if you find it.
