* Every day a brand new mission is created using our improved procedural content generator. All players across the world play this daily mission and share their scores on our leaderboards. Create a community to get your own unique stages that you can play with your friends!
* Phoenix 2 is designed specifically for 64 bit devices with Metal. Our Flare engine, which was developed in-house, renders the intense action beautifully with advanced graphics effects, such as bloom and anamorphic lens flares.

A new wave difficulty indicator has been added to mission intel. It shows which waves are the most challenging for pilots attempting the mission.

When we’re on a roll in Phoenix II, we feel unstoppable. Untouchable. Like Quicksilver in the X-Men films. This “bullet hell” shooter’s silky-smooth controls (even better with 3D Touch) are as stunning as its graphics. And with dozens of uniquely armed ships and daily mission updates, the replayability’s insane.
One of the most amazing shmups in the App Store.
Phoenix 2 is all the things you’d expect from an arcade top down shooter.. action packed, addictive, mounds of enemies, lots of ships and tons of explosions. Phoenix 2’s enemies are diverse and the game even has more then 70 ships! Talk about variety. Each and every ship is unique in its own way, each with really fun weapons. And each mission changes daily, so the enemy formation is constantly changing. Should make for an amazing challenge! Best thing of all, this game isn’t greedy. I got every single ship in the game without even spending a single coin!
Overall, I give this game a 5/5. I’ve been playing this game for two years and considering how much of a blast it is, I’ll never stop. And with the constant updates adding new ships and enemies, it makes the game even much more fun to pick up and play, and blow up a few invaders.
Hate new revive update
I love the game, play every day as a 10-20 minute time filler and enjoy it every time. But I do not agree with the decision to change up the revives. Let’s say I take my eye off the ball and receive a bullet to the face on 2-1, I would never willingly use a revive to start from Act 2 but now I’m forced to automatically, that’s not a revive I want to waste.
Also sometimes I can’t decide how many revives I want to use, if a level frustrates me I’ll keep going til I beat it and feel great about it, other times I might use one and then restart. But now I’m being forced to choose the amount before I start? Not good.
Please change it back or give us an option to turn it back ourselves.
