There's zillions of studies saying phone usage takes a toll on our mental health. On top of that, we waste hours everyday staring at a screen.
Of course we're frustrated, but it's easier said than done to actually put down our phones and "be present in the moment".
So we asked ourselves, how can we make it FUN to do a mini digital detox everyday? Introducing Phoneless.
You can use Phoneless whenever you want to be in the moment, productive, free of distraction, or just need a break from social media.
We're on pace to spend 15 YEARS OF OUR LIVES staring at our phones!! Let's get some years back.

This app needs boundaries!!!
If love to have this app but texting your friends is wrong and can lead to a bad social life. First of all it bothers your friends with unwanted info. Second, people could hack into this and find your find your phone number. You should have the decision to use your phone number and who to text. It would be a lot better if you had the option to turn the internet off for I don’t know five minutes? You could need to urgently text a friend but then your notifications would get in the way. I’m sorry but I deleted this app at the sign-up page.
Bothering others
I don’t want to bother other people with constant notifications of my failure - but I can’t progress without selecting 3 people on your contacts list who ‘also use their phone too much’.
I get that using others to hold you accountable works, but I wouldn’t want to bother other people & I feel like I should have been given the option to opt out of that part, so I can still use the other features. Maybe this should be explicitly written out on the app description - this is why I deleted the app before finishing the set up
