Screwed up-date!
I have been using this app for a while now on my iPad 2 and it's been very good. Blur, draw, frame etc all easily accessed and, even with chubby fingers, the editor worked well. However, the new 5.1 update gas thrown up a number of problems. The multiple photo selector is a welcome addition, however, you can't see all of the images on your picture roll. Switching to the single editor allows you to find them but, the white box which the folders are displayed on, doesn't disappear after the image is selected and makes editing very difficult. Also, once you have managed to edit, once the new image is saved, you have to close the program and re-start it, to continue to edit another picture!
Sort it out, Axiom as you have screwed up a good program that was working fine...😡😡
Great for beginners and pro's
Great app for beginners getting into photo editing and also for the more advanced photo editors. I've found this extremely user friendly and easy to navigate with great features such as a 'blemish' tool a 'focus' plus many other ways of adjusting the light, contrast, colours and saturations. For the beginners it has the the cool variety of free filters to play around with. I found it had the right mix of professional and learning tools whereas a lot of the photo editing apps focus on just 'funny filters' I gave this app the full 5* because it is well worth getting and my photo editing skills have grown so much since getting it. Also this is available for the iPad.
Just a few minor issues
This review is long so if you don’t want to read it all just skip to the bottom (it’s still a long paragraph but at least it’s not an entire essay)
It’s a very good tool for editing photos but there are just a few minor details that I feel hold it back from five stars,
The overlays don’t look quite right so even though it is an interesting feature I can never actually use them properly
I feel like it would be easy to add more variation into the stickers but the stickers that we get are blob people and some basic shapes
Before getting this I always edited my photos in the editor that comes with the camera app that is automatically downloaded on your phone, so far this app hasn’t been much better than that one in any areas except the stickers,
Most of the things I mentioned I THINK could be solved easily in ways such as adding more sticker variation and allowing for changing brightness and darkness in specific areas of the photo (via an selection system not dissimilar to the pen) and just going over the overlays and trying to improve them
