PICO - XR 12+

The headset is brilliant, but I wanted to try mixed reality capture, the app works and allows the phone / handset to be calibrated then after a while the app locks up and doesn’t write the video to the phone or headset’s memory. I haven’t managed to get a single recording after 6 attempts. I have an IPhone 16 Pro Max so I doubt it a lack of phone performance. Thoughts Pico???

I recently purchased the Pico 4 device, and I must say, it’s a great piece of hardware that I really enjoy. However, my excitement was dampened when I downloaded the accompanying app. To put it bluntly, the app is currently in a shockingly bad state.

I encountered numerous issues, such as frequent crashes, loading problems, and an inability to make purchases. It’s quite frustrating to see an app with such potential suffer from these fundamental flaws. I can’t help but wonder how an app in this stage could even exist.

I sincerely hope the development team takes note of these issues and works on them ASAP. The app has the potential to enhance the overall experience of using the Pico 4, but its current state is hindering its functionality and usability. As a customer, I expect a smoother and more reliable app to complement the excellent hardware.

In conclusion, while the Pico 4 device itself is impressive, the app leaves much to be desired. I hope the development team takes the feedback seriously and swiftly addresses the glaring problems to ensure a seamless and enjoyable user experience.

Works okay. can look through the games okay ,but I still understand some big games it won’t let me look at it or buy it it just says “you’re not eligible for this application” but then eight or 10 minutes later it will it let me in
