Update:Having had a problem with inventory update the developers have responded very well in looking into the issue. It is also noted that they also respond to comments in the Apple App Store - highly commended - would that all app developers were as proactive! My wife and I have just started using the MyTherapy free app to replace “Medisafe” which has suddenly started to charge an exorbitant monthly fee for users taking more than two medications. MyTherapy is free and works flawlessly and is to be recommended. There is also a direct link to the website which also states “MyTherapy always has been and always will remain free to use.” One good feature that Medisafe has is the ability to customise the tablet image shown against the medication name by using a user selectable choice against shape, colour and score. Could this be considered as a feature for MyTherapy? It is certainly a helpful means of identification for those taking several medications.
Very helpful app

I have just got out of hospital with severe malnutrition and as such am taking a great number of new medications and supplements, including a liquid diet drink seven times a day. This app is phenomenal for being able to keep track of all of these. I use it in silent mode and the single little buzz is all I need to remind me that it is time for something to be taken. I also really appreciate that you can keep track of a variety of symptoms, though it would be helpful if you could add your own. This might be a bit much for some people, but I would also appreciate being able to keep track of bowel movements. However, I do have one critique, which is that I find it odd that activity that you log doesn’t appear in the charts section of the progress tab. Having to scroll all the way down my list of medications taken and symptoms logged in the list section to see my logged activity, and then having to remember those numbers to compare to other days when I scroll further is very unintuitive and unnecessarily difficult. Surely an easy way for logged activity to be shown in the charts section would be to make the upper limit the highest number logged for that specific activity? Please consider adding this feature if possible.

Medication reminder I would not do without
Julia Says
I need to take meds sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. I use this app (been using it for years as I write at the end of 2023). I set an alarm on my phone and also use this app’s alarm. This gives me two reminders one minute apart to make sure I don’t just ignore them. You can load every medication you take and the amounts and it will track when you take less or more or infrequent meds. I don’t really use it properly as I take so many different types at once. But it works really well for what I need it to do. I track my own doses and medical reviews etc in a spreadsheet as they do not change often.Ideas for improvement - - have the alarm repeat every 10 mins. - alarm goes off when you switch your phone on even if you switch your phone on after the dose was required. It’s a great app and the support team are really good and responsive too. Big thanks for making such a helpful tool. 👍Addition Dec 2024I have a course of antibiotics to take. I typed in the name, a drop-down menu appeared, I chose the dose and how many times per day to take it and it incorporated it into my existing schedule. Genius! I was really impressed how easy it was! Well done team.

So near but yet so very far

This is so close to being a great app, but unfortunately its failings and limitations let it down badly. I have found it very useful to help remind me when to take my various medications and set up is pretty straightforward. However, here are my main gripes with this app: 1. It forgets to send notifications. A LOT. Every few days it forgets to ping me about a med so I miss that dose. That's not cool. And yes my phone is up to date and yes I'm running the latest version of the app. 2. The red notification dot (numbered for multiple missed notifications) doesn't always show. This is particularly true in the all too frequent instances of point 1. 3. You can't add a historical medication. I forgot to input a new med and although I could add it to the app a few days later it was frustrating that I wasn't able to adjust the start date to any earlier than that day. 4. You can't adjust the snooze function. It's 30 minutes, like it or not. 5. You can't undo an action. The other day my phone slipped in my hand whilst I was in the app and I inadvertently deleted one of my meds from the inventory. I was able to add it back in but I had to set it up from scratch and it's listed as a new item in the Progress tab, which is frustrating. 6. If you take a med after midnight that is timed for before midnight (i.e. you're taking it on the same night but calendar-wise it's the next day) you can't change the date in the Progress tab. There may be other niggles but I can't think of them at the moment. Hope this is useful to someone.
