Description

Take pills, tablets or other medication? PillWatch helps you keep track!

Pill Watch helps you keep track of the pills, tablets and other medication you take using your Apple Watch or iPhone - works with pills you take daily, weekly, monthly or any pattern you chose.

- Your data is private & confidential - everything is held on your iPhone - simple and secure

- Set up your schedule of pills and create icons that look just like your own pills, injections, drops, inhalers or liquid medicines

- Get helpful reminders on your iPhone or Apple Watch that a pill is due - with pictures and text so you know just what to take. Add 'complications' to your watch face to see pills and reminders

- Calendar History features shows what pills you took on which dates - and clearly highlights missed pills

- Medicine Cabinet feature to keep track of how many pills you have in the cupboard and notify you when you are running low

- Track your daily status on the Today screen on your iPhone and the handy glance functionality on your Apple Watch

- Keep track of the pills you've taken and know for certain which ones you haven't yet

- Invaluable for the forgetful, or those that take pills so often that you simply lose track!

- Pick from a selection of distinctive alert sounds, and set reminders to maximise your chances of taking pills when you need to.

Works well with timezones for the international traveller and holidaymaker - chose to stay on your home timezone and get reminders at the right time for home, or for longer trips move your entire schedule round to the new timezone.

Makes great use of your Apple Watch: see what's taken and what's overdue today, mark your pills as taken and get reminders when you need them - all without needing to touch your iPhone.

Built by a pill-taker for other pill-takers: feedback welcome!

Great app!

I take Levothyroxine daily which needs to be taken on an empty stomach, at least an hour before any caffeine or food. Also at least 3 hours before (or after)any supplements which, those of us living with thyroid disease will know are just as important as the meds. This is a great reminder to simply keep that timing apart otherwise they interact with each other and affect how the body converts the Levothyroxine. Recommend.

Very useful

Diabetic and taking 10 pills a day. This helps a lot! Especially the Watch - I just tap the watch reminder when I've taken the pill and I can check what I've taken if I forget.

Improvements needed to justify the price

I have downloaded at least 20 medication reminders. All of them lack certain options. If your app includes all the below then it will deserve 5 stars

There is no option to add medication as needed

On the next pill page better having the name of the medication as well as pictures instead of tapping and name of medication showing in small lettering

Today’s pills again name alongside the picture

Option to add start date of taking the medication

Adding picture of the Medication box

Emailing the medication taken logs

Adding medication from a database

All the above added to the app would deserve 5 stars
