Description
Tech+ works seamlessly with Workshop Planner in Pinewood DMS, it's a great tool to help your technicians build on workshop revenue.
- Clock onto jobs and easily keep an eye on how much time is remaining.
- Clock onto the job using the voice assistant, which is automatically allocated from the planner.
- Technical documents can be uploaded to the job for future reference.
- Service history can be viewed as well as the original documents.
- Checklists can be tailored to specific jobs.
- In the VHC, items can be set as urgent, recommended or OK and confirmed digitally by the customer.
- Record a VHC video to send to your customer, adding intro and outro clips to reflect your dealership's branding.
- When you find work to do, menu pricing is available to help you immediately quote your customer.
- If you need to speak to the parts team, you can send a note to share important information.
- You can view parts that have been prepared for the job or even issue them yourself by selecting the part or scanning a bar code.

Absolute garbage
The app barely ever works, constantly signs you out even one second after signing in. If you are lucky enough to have a version of the software that is working then I wouldn’t update it as the current version on the App Store is unfit for use.
The amount of time you have to spend trying to login or clock onto jobs is having a negative impact on productivity, more minutes spent on your device than actually fixing cars.
Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, if you look at previous reviews these issues have been going back 3 years. The same copy paste response by the developer promising it’s been fixed, trust me it has not.
Doesn’t seem to improve
The app has had many updates the whole time I been using it (4 years) but never actually seems to improve. It’s very slow when changing between jobs etc it takes too long and wastes time especially if your going to clock to authorise idle to help someone quickly. Also need a way to see old health checks from a technician use of the app and be able to view other jobs without having to clock off the one your working on. Apart from that the app works well tbh one little thing that would be a good idea is to have a option to fill in a reason why you clocked on to authorised idle so the workshop control etc can see it instead of having to tell them each time.
Utter rubbish🤬🤬!!!!
Why is it you do an update and make it worse than before? This is crap. Also why can’t you simplify the bloody thing. 6-8 screens to select before you can get working on the next operation ! We are not stupid, why don’t you just let us go from one operation to the next with just one acknowledgment message? Some of us have to justify every minute of our time and don’t have the luxury of sitting on our arses in an office pressing lots of buttons for a living. Obviously designed by someone who has no practical understanding of how a workshop actually runs!
