Get ahead in a fluctuating marketplace

Run for Mayor of the City
With elections held every two days, things change fast in Pixel Plex. As mayor, you can control policies that affect the whole city. Will you lower taxes on big projects, increase the value of the market, or just line your pockets with extra cash?

Great game but needs improvements
I’ve played this game on and off for a year or so, this has mainly been due to once you have upgraded to the maximum building levels and then keep expanding and buying new blocks the upkeep cost is too high, the economics of the incomes and buildings benefits don’t add up. Reduce the costs of upkeep, add new upgrade levels to buildings and increase the income values as you progress. Plus add some different buildings to the game, there isn’t enough to create a diversified Plex without impacting the efficiency levels.
Have to restart....
This isn’t me dissing the game I would rate five stars but there is one thing that I hope can be fixed/ removed. Once you buy your more than one block area you start having to pay for upkeep. And if your upkeep overcomes the amount of money you earn an hour then you will get minus money every time you collect. And the second you hit 0 in your bank then you can’t do anything to get back up to where you were, except from selling all your buildings or managing to find enough trades and waste all your materials to get money. So all you can do is restart your city!
So please can you make a way to get back on track from minus money, like a way to sell blocks so the upkeep goes or the upkeep gets reduced by a lot?
I am sorry for the long bit of text about a bug, but it is extremely frustrating when you have found a game you like and do quite well in it to find out you have to restart all over again... Thank you, I guess.
One of my favorite games
This game is really fun and it never gets boring as you can rush an hour of construction. I like how people can vote for mayor because it adds a sense of competition from people in the town to try be mayor. Like I said, I REALLY like this game, only improvement I could think of is in city projects you can see how many Escher person has done so

And so on and only the top 15 donators or something get the reward to make everyone motivated to donate, and that if you leave a city to join a new one, all of your business and housing join the new one too instead of starting from scratch. I feel like those would make the game perfect. Like I said, except from that, good enough for my five stars.
