The Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) exam is the main route by which International Medical Graduates (IMGs) demonstrate that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practise medicine in the UK. The exam includes PLAB part 1 and part 2. We focus on high yield questions that mimic the PLAB part 1 exam, hence giving you the best opportunity to pass on the first attempt. PLAB part 1 is a three-hour computer-marked written examination comprising 180 single best answer questions.

Revise on the go with features including:

● More than 2000 high yield questions
● Practise questions by categories
● Timed mock practices
● Question flagging for ease of revision
● Dedicated Whatsapp groups for discussion
● Add your own questions
● Practise questions added by other users

We take pride in staying on par with the current changes in the NHS and we consistently update our questions and explanations. The answers we provide are evidence-based and our explanations are from various reliable sources such as NICE guidelines and Clinical Knowledge Summaries, website as well as expert opinions from NHS prescribers.

Only source you need for Plab 1

Great explanations to questions and I have found the gems really useful. However the website is more handy than the app. I would recommend using plabable through their website so you can read comments of the questions as well. You can find great mnemonics from fellow doctors in those comments. I have passed my exam studying only from plabable. Don’t go around confusing yourself with too many sources, stick to one or two.

Very good prep

I’m currently using PLABABLE and it has a solid set of questions and explanation with great methods and ideas to help memorise/retrain information before and during the exam.

It also prepares you for other medical licence exams (the similar ones which are based on general clinical knowledge, but not the basics such as biochemistry or microbiology).

Dr A2 ,

Deeply disappointed.

‘Dont try to fix something, which isn’t broken’ - the PLABABLE administration should deeply contemplate this famous saying.

Its unfortunate for me to belittle the efforts of the PLABABLE team, because of a miscalculated decision on their behalf.
The Qs were available even offline, which meant that I could go over chapters and attempt mocks even during my hospital shifts (in which there is very poor internet coverage at my hospital) - a hugely beneficial strongpoint!
However, the Qs and mocks now are ONLY available when you’re online - meaning I’m wasting countless hours during the day when i dont have internet access, not being able to practise and go over answered Qs.

I’m genuinely deeply disappointed.
Unfortunately, as the offline option is now not available - I recommend people to explore other plab 1 ‘online-only’ Qbanks too.
