I enjoy the app and just following random aircraft around the world. I also love to see what’s flying overheard. My only issue is sometimes I hear and see aircraft and they don’t show on the app. Maybe there’s a good reason. But it’s fun and kills time. I just wish I lived near a busy airport. I’d go watch them land. I also told my Dad about this app and planes and he said I was boring. Then later he’d come into my room to point out planes flying overheard so obviously downloaded it. Haha. The free is ok but full of ads. I can cope for now. I enjoyed the free trial more a while back. I had to stop it because at that time couldn’t afford the subscription. I plan to subscribe on payday because I’m not sure when the money will be taken (some apps do it immediately, some at certain dates though that’s rare). It’s quite a reasonable price currently and I hope it stays that way since I’m on a budget. It keeps saying free trial again but I don’t think you get another. I daren’t test it. Anyways, good tracker app! Thanks guys.

I had a two weeks free trial, and unfortunately that’s end there. I do not blame the app but what I wanted this for, is just not there. I don’t care about airlines but GA. There is all info you want about airlines but very little about planes that flying outside my window, if they show up at all. I read and fully understand is that all about type of transponder. As I’m writing this there is two planes SR22 and Cessna flying nearby. I can see them in real but I can only see sr22 on the app and like 99% GA planes I have only alt course vertical rate type and registered date. Is missing rest of them. Again is not app fault but just my expectations are a bit unrealistic. Then is playback, sounds awesome but I only managed to find my flight to Spain but none of them to Poland, even very recent with Rynair or Wizzair. Featured flights alert, well I don’t know how it works because it didn’t notify me about Red Arrow flying by!! Charts is just joke, there is 6 of them, I knew will be bad but there is more then 7000 airports on Navigraph, as example. The goodIs quick and Very easy to use. 3d stuff is gadget but nice addition, weather is fairly accurate compared to Windy. Filters are awesome. I like the layout and presentation.If that was one of purchase yes worth to have for around £10 but subscription, no to me. Thank you for let me try this first and keep improving so maybe one day I will have a go again.

Originally had the old legacy app. for many years so decided to upgrade to the new version. I decided to opt for the free trial period then ‘go pro’. Allowing me to use all the features. I had a problem activating the free trial & then paying for the full version so contacted the Pinkfoot support team. They answered within about 10 mins and offered me a solution which didn’t work , so contacted them again , they replied within an hour with a further solution which again didn’t work, so again contacted them for a third time . 3 days later they got back , they had contacted Apple and been told the issue has been addressed and to update my Apple software. This I did and everything is now working! Really great support from Pinkfoot. The game runs very smoothly and has a lot of new features, really enjoying using it. Tony.

This use to be a great app. Simple design and focused on the info 99% of people who use this app would care about. The customer service was also great. They were very responsive and bugs you reported were fixed quickly. The app has now become bloated and fussy and you don’t hear from anyone with bugs going unfixed for months. At its core this is an app for people to find out what type of plane is in the sky and what airline. That’s it. For some baffling reason they have started removing logos from flights to leave blank plane markers. Apparently this is to put logos for the small companies that have the franchises rather than the franchise logos. So the plane logos will not match the livery on the plane. They have also increased the size of the plane markers so that tiny turboprop aircraft have markers the same size as large jets. These decisions are completely illogical and probably only make sense to the strange person that made them. So it can’t be used for its core purpose and all the frivolous stuff they have tried to add like 3D mode and travel functionality appeals to little to no one. Congrats on ruining your app.

We made the decision to change the display of the markers following complaints about accessibility of the red ones and much research and testing of different options. In addition all of the airline logos have been completely redrawn to make them clearer and more uniform size in the app. We are tracking more planes than ever before and continue to invest.
