A true gem of an app and still going strong!
I started using Plastic Bullet when it first came out and absolutely loved everything about this simple app for getting truly one of a kind photos. I stopped using it having changed phones and then forgot the name of it. Fast forward to a few days ago and I stumbled across it again. I’m really pleased it’s still going as I thought it wouldn’t be supported any more, but here it is, still delivering the same seamless UI and always gets you a great retro image that’s standout unique.
What’s not to love?
Brilliant!
When you start taking pictures on your iPhone rather than use a DSLR just so you can use an app - it must be good. I have quite a collection of camera apps and this one is my most heavily used. Its very simple to use, but its best feature is its random nature. You never know what you will end up with and that's where the fun is. Sometimes even the most unpromising material can end up looking cool. You can lose hours just trying just one more picture.
If I had a reservation before it was the limited resolution, but now that is sorted I can heartily recommend it.
Not supported anymore?
I used to love this app, but the program crashes every time I that I try to save a photo generated with it. I am using iOS 14.3, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I hope that the developers release a fix for this!
