Playdead's INSIDE 12+

This game is so incredible i wasnt entirely sure about it when I downloaded it but i love it so much. it gets you using strategy in some places, i also like how there are so many unsolved mysteries of the game that go far beyond what you see, but most of all i love the animation side of it. The boy reacts to everything just like a normal person would, and the animation of the water and the leaves and wood etc is incredible. Only problem i have is how sensitive the controls are. I play this on my phone and sometimes when i try to run the boy runs a few steps and the stops, which is very annoying, but a good thing about the controls is that you cant see them, you just feel for them. It looks great. Its great to play. Overall i definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes this kinda thing. Thanks for reading.

*Update: the controls are now working fine i think my phone was just playing up before hand. Love love love it i just wish i was able to pay for the whole thing. :)
**Extra update: i notice a lot of people are saying that some of it is really hard or they can’t do it. I would recommend that if you get really stuck and can’t complete one bit then maybe watch a tutorial for the bit u are stuck on, but don’t watch the rest as this is an amazing game don’t ruin it for urself!

My scrolling through the App Store brought me to this game and at first thought I was just going to swipe past until I accidentally tapped on it. Now I could have swiped back to the previous page and continued scrolling but the little preview invoked my curiosity and made me watch full thing. Watching the gameplay I was instantly immersed into the games ‘Little Nightmares’ aesthetic. I have never played such a game and I have only ever watched YouTubers like 8bitryan play the game as I could never afford it but due this games demo being free I have finally gotten a chance to play a game of such. I loved the attention to detail as the character reacted to the environment from jumping from high areas, to running at full speed to evade armed men and vicious dogs, and looking down at dozen of little chicks tweeting for attention. This game has left me with many unanswered questions which I unfortunately will not be able to have answered as I can not afford to pay for the full game which is only six pounds (which is an amazing price for a great game) but I have really enjoyed this wonderful game I would like to thank the developers for creating this masterpiece.

I love puzzle games, but this is so much more. I won’t drop any spoilers - if you love a puzzle game with a story line then this is pretty incredible. Excellent movement & flow, the animation is beautiful. Story line intriguing & kept me very curious. A lot of fun & keeps you thinking & entertained. Not a fast paced game, which I love, but certainly keeps the suspense & challenges going. Really well made game. I played on my iPad and think it’s a fantastic game for this device.

Downsides for me were: Bit too expensive. Reason I felt this is I’d have loved to have played a lot more. It was a bit short for the price but that’s because I enjoyed it so much. The achievements needed means you can replay to get them etc, but puzzle games aren’t that exciting when you know what to do. The ending was a bit of an anti climax in terms of closure. I give it 5 stars as an overall and 9/10 for the reasons.

Definitely worth playing the free demo 👍 just wish the game was twice as long. Great game, lovely sound and overall feel. Thank you for making.
