Come on

I am writing this just because I feel like most of the negative reviews are not about the game performance or the game itself they’re more about how it can’t connect to the switch or how they want a “proper” pokemon game. Personally, I think this game is really cute, fun and addictive. I tend to play games like these not very often but for long-ish periods of time when Ive got nothing to do so the 5 battery refill thing can be frustrating and put me off sometimes but hey-ho. I like the idea of the cooking pots and how you have to play to gather ingredients to cook up a new awesome pokemon. I also like how it pushes you to have a varied selection of Pokemon so you an get the bonus type to help you win each level. The idea of having a few rounds of easier to beat pokemon followed by a boss pleasantly reminds me of Pokemon gyms with the gym leader at the end. Overall, although I think there are a few things this game could improve on (happy to say how I think they could improve if anyone wants), it’s a decent game definitely give it a try and if you don’t like it, you an easily uninstall it :)

Overall okay

Fun game to play but some of the levels and bosses don’t make sense. I’m able to complete a 5700 boss with 5000 strength but not a 5400 boss with 5100 strength.

The dodge feature is pretty useless as they run a total of 10 inches away from the boss taking their sweet precious time doing it. Also sometimes the Pokemon just ignore the dodge command altogether.

Bosses are able to just spam attacks but I have to wait 4 years and 6 months just to use one of my attacks. Especially annoying when your fighting a boss that has a move that can push you back such as Arcanine.

Sometimes a newly revived Pokémon on the battlefield will just immediately die because it spawned at the same time as the boss is spamming his main attack for the 1134th time in a row.

Pokemon take too much time to attack even on their own, meanwhile the enemies are hitting me more or less constantly.

Levelling can be pretty slow as well, game expects you to replay old levels over and over again to get XP and the possibility of higher power stones to level up your Pokemon.

Despite all that said, I am having fun playing the game and these issues, as much as they annoy me, haven’t pushed me away from the game just yet. Hopefully some of these things I’ve mentioned can be improved.

Overall a fun game to play with good potential but it falls short of what it could be because of these issues.
