PokerUp: Social Poker 17+

This game is honestly really good and I’m surprised the user base is so small. It loads quick and your playing a 1v1 in no time which is different from the usual online poker clients but also really nice along with the game being in portrait mode, doesn’t shove Facebook down your throat or beg for your contacts even though the option is there, and yes there is a premium membership.... but it’s a quid per month, this along with the usual coin packs and what nots are unavoidable in this day and age but if the price is fair like it is here you can’t complain. If you know how to play poker even at a basic level you’ll have a good time and if your into competitive but casual games like 8ball or golf clash same applies

Now I don’t want to sound like your average bitter player, but the gameplay here is ridiculously fishy. The players you contend with appear to be bots, they all join with the same win/fold/aggression statistics, with millions in their wallet but playing on the second smallest cash table which would hardly be a noticeable win for them.
Not only that but their playstyle is senseless, they’ll call a large river raise when they have literally nothing (8 high card) and they’ll lose, then they’ll go all in pre-flop with NOTHING and if you call they will inevitably hit whatever it is they need (likely on the turn/river) and your pocket jacks+ will crumble. The whole environment just seems set up to tilt you, maybe into making in app purchases, which is disgusting if true. The rewards are a joke as well, barely enough to cover 1/3 of the minimum table buy-in, what’s the point? My first game of the 4400 buy-in went swimmingly, I won virtually every hand I played, won the match within 5 minutes, the others after were disastrous, drawing dead every single time and lasting well over 25 minutes; if my patience was still intact.
It’s incredibly suspicious.
In short I’ll be deleting the app and strongly recommend you look elsewhere for an enjoyable poker experience!

Great app and great game play.

But they should develop FaceTime playing with friends. Would go down a treat! And maybe table of 6 for social games during lockdown.
