Pooking - Billiards City 4+

This is a really fun game. I keep finding myself coming back over and over. As you go up the ranks, the game throws a different shape pool table at you too, so it keeps you on your toes. Some a very challenging too. I’m currently on level 140, and I certainly can’t say I’ve cleared every level clean, but it’s a good game to pass the time. The only thing that does hurt it, is the shear amount of adverts that spoil the flow. It has an advert after every level (completed or otherwise) and puts the cross to close them, in an annoying position half the time. They are also incredibly random adverts that I have absolutely no interest in either. All in all, it’s a free game, that’s fun and is actually quite addictive, only let down by incessant adverts. Recommended.

It is very samey! It needs to be an online game as well as an offline game. It needs challenges like the least number of shots to clear the table, the quickest time to clear the table, trick shots to attempt and succeed in, a trick shot editor that could be put online for others to try and more! I have no sound! I am almost on stage 50 and have never had sound! I finally have sound! It took until level 50 for me to get sound and now I’m deleting the game as it has become very boring!

Oh and another problem is that the ball physics are NOT realistic! Putting spin on the cue ball does not get it to do what you would expect it to do (if you have played the game as often as I have you would know what the spin is supposed to do when it is applied). An example: I applied a mix of back spin and side spin by hitting the cue ball on what is effectively the bottom right hand corner and it is as if no side spin has been applied as the ball comes back in a straight line! This is NOT normal!

There are far too many adverts and each ad is far too long, the quantity and quality of the ads is enough to put anyone off, me included.
The advertising is so repetitive and long that you would think in this day and age that once you have clicked it away it wouldn’t show up again but wrong, also in a lot of cases the ads take longer to play through than the actual frame of pool takes. All in all a 5 out of 10 at best due to the spoiling by advertising.
