· Securely store and share staff ID cards, health test results and other details issued to you by third parties

Create your EasyID in minutes
1. Add a phone number and create a 5-digit PIN to secure your account
2. Scan your face with your phone’s camera and we’ll verify you to protect your account
3. Add personal details to your EasyID easily by scanning a government-approved ID document (a passport, driving licence or national ID cards from any of 200+ countries and territories)
You choose which details to share with businesses or individuals and when. We encourage businesses to only ask for the details they really need.
Keeping your details safe
You can count on Post Office to protect your personal details. We use identity experts Yoti to verify your identity and safely encrypt any details you add to your EasyID into unreadable data. They’re stored safely on your phone, where only you can unlock them using your PIN or fingerprint.
We can’t access your details or share them without your permission. We can’t mine or sell your data to third parties. Plus, we’ll never charge you to use EasyID. Instead, we charge businesses who use EasyID to verify your personal details.
What’s New

The newest version is packed with improvements throughout the app.
There is now more help and guidance when you need to add your passport to your reusable digital ID. We have also made improvements to how we display content in the app; you can now see a full list of articles by tapping ‘Show all’.

Great app, slowly becoming more widely accepted
Downloaded the app as I regularly purchase stuff online from forums, Gumtree etc. And the problem with buying from forums and sites like Gumtree is that you have no idea who you are dealing with. The share/swap details function in the app is excellent as it helps to verify the person you’re either buying from or selling to without asking them to send a photo of their passport or driving license (nobody wants to do that because of fear or sending pics of identity documents in this day and age) so this app is really great as you get to verify the other person. Helps with peace of mind.
Read the other reviews here and some people seem frustrated that it’s not accepted everywhere. But reality is that this is a new and emerging way to use identity, so it’s gradually being rolled out and starting to become more popular. Be patient people! This is the future of I.D. and will eventually become commonplace.

Very good for an ID
This app comes very secure way, not to carry around value confidential information when you are not supposed to but this app can be accessed and let around where ever you could go, with this feature on this app it is theft free and can freely move with this smartphone installed app on your phone. Even if you are lost it or had stolen, still would not anyone could access your file of any important documents. Very good for showing or verifying who you are at time to time.

Does not work with all ‘Supported IDs’
Hello fellow App Store User, I am writing this review after contacting multiple people on the support team and I keep being told that the EasyID does not support the Post Office PASS Card. However, the letter that came with the card as well as the app itself says it should be supported. In the case of the app, there is a button in the ‘Select your ID document’ section which clearly says Post Office PASS Card. For the letter, it says that the EasyID app is the OFFICIAL app for the card. I will update this review if the situation changes such as the button is removed or they are supported again.
Edit:
I have contacted support and the Post Office PASS card is supported by not the current template - as of 12 of November 2022 - until this is updated, the app is useless for people with a current PASS Card from the Post Office.

We actioned the required fixes from our side, to support this template, and you were able to scan your ID one more time, and therefore, add it to your EasyID app. We apologise that this took so long, as supporting this type of ID should be a standard procedure for our app. We can also assure you that we're analisying internally the scenario and try to learn from it, so that other customers don't have to face this again.
