Barcode scanner issue and iPhone X

When yiu use the barcode scanner, the app moves position, and it therefore moves it into the notch.

Notifications from PowerApps such as saying there is a new version gets hidden behind the notch.

Thank you for the feedback. iPhone support will be shipped soon

Designed to run business apps for organisations and it does it well

The PowerApps app is not a scam and the app does what it is meant to do well. You need to be aware of what it is for and what it is not. It is not designed to create apps that you can publish to the App Store; it is designed to run business apps created for organisations running either Microsoft Office365 or MIcrosoft Dynamics. The range of data sources extends beyond those Microsoft offerings. It is possible to subscribe to PowerApps standalone for a relatively low monthly fee without a Microsoft Office365 sub. PowerApps is great.

The only reason I would be tempted to mark it down is that PowerApps overall is still lacking in certain areas. Some are data source related, others are inexplicable bugs like the SQL Server date filtering bug (if you’re a Microsoft Dev reading this please explain why this bug is still there when it was going to be fixed “in one or two releases”...two years ago!) My own gripe is the lack of printing or export support. However, none of that is the fault of the app. The app does what it is meant to do.

Extremely Buggy

The interface is old, unattractive and full of bugs. Sometimes I select one of my apps and a different app opens. Half the screen fills irreversibly black if I try to scroll through a drop down menu’s options, and the app is constantly asking me to restart. These are bugs for basic mobile input, something which should have no issues in 2019.

I’m quite disappointed that there’s so much potential in building a PowerApp on PC, yet the end-user experience on a phone is poor. I feel like using a dodgy app from 2010.

Developer Response ,

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the app. Thank you very much for your feedback. We would love to hear more from you and address your concerns as soon as possible. Can you please reach out to us at pamobsup@microsoft.com and provide detailed feedback on the interface as well as the bugs so that we can help you?
