Description

Tara Lee has devised this app containing a programme of yoga specifically tailored for pregnancy. It is suitable for all stages of pregnancy after 14 weeks and all levels (including beginners).

You will be guided through breathing exercises, yoga routines and relaxations helping you to feel healthy and strong during your pregnancy and prepare you for the birth of your baby.

There is an extensive menu so that you can tailor your yoga according to your needs and how much time and energy you have.

The app is divided into:
Move -if you are feeling strong and want to move your body (you can then select which body part to focus on or you can do a short 20 minute dynamic practice and finish with a guided relaxation)
Relax- if you are feeling tired, you are in your last trimester of pregnancy or it is evening time.
Prepare - if you want to focus on exercises to prepare for your birth (you can select breathing and positions for birth or partner work for massage)
Postnatal There is a short sequence of postnatal yoga to help you after you have had your baby including pelvic floor exercises.

This saved me in pregnancy... and still is, 6 years on

A friend recommended Tara Lee and I found the breathing, neck and shoulders, and pelvic floor routines particularly helpful during my two pregnancies. My kids are now 6 and 3 and I still use the neck&shoulders one in particular - I’ve tried others but nothing else comes close to reaching my aches as well, and 6 minutes is short enough that I can do it anytime. I love how they’re all broken into short chunks you can run together depending on how much time you have. I really appreciate these sequences.

Lovely gentle app

This app is split into sections so you can choose which specific exercises to do, rather than scroll to the part you want. Tara has a really lovely gentle voice, which match the exercises. Happy and relaxed every time I use the app.

Not that great

I got this app to try and improve my fitness and strength during pregnancy. Purchased the 20 minute sequence but do not recommend it. The whole sequence is spent on your knees putting way too much pressure, and is too fast, needs to be slower. Was not worth the purchase.
