Prompt+ Teleprompter 4+

Almost what I need, but not quite.

Another vote for having the active text in the centre of the screen during voice control sessions, rather than right at the top, perhaps with an optional semitransparent overlay bar. That’s the only thing missing for me in an otherwise neat app. Voice control works fine for me on an iPhone approx 1 metre away.

Great idea but not great app (esp voice recognition)

Bought this because I have their teleprompter with video app for iPhone. Sadly, this is nowhere near as good. I purchased the extended scripts feature, only to find the voice recognition is limited to a certain amount per day. I found out the hard way, when I was a quarter of the way through a keynote, and realised I bought an app that is useless for me. I'm yet to discover whether this is the same issue on the Teleprompter with video app too. Please be aware, it doesn't state anywhere that the voice recognition feature is limited, which is incredibly misleading.
Script editing could be better as it's an incredibly tedious process at present to add formatting. Would love the ability to import a Word doc that has all the formatting in place, so everything is seamless.

DO NOT BUY

I bought this app for the the "voice activated scrolling" feature. What no-one tells you is that you can only use that feature for a few minutes per day. No idea why you can't use it all the time, given you've paid for the software. And what's worse, it doesn't give you any notice that it's going to stop for the day — I had it time-out on my halfway through a video recording, which ruined the whole recording. So it's a more insiduous bug than if it just didn't work in the first place. I never leave reviews, but am hoping that I can help someone else out their avoid the pain I went through. Oh, and I contacted the developer through their contact form, but heard nothing back from them. Avoid like the plague.
