I’m leaving after 18 months of rubbish from PP
I really like the idea of using renewable energy for my home. Initially the Pure Planet offer seemed good but they structure monthly payments based on forecast consumption. As such, if your consumption is higher than you’re paying for you quickly run up a big debt. And because they rely on an algorithm to calculate your payments you, the customer, cannot take control of how much you pay. Whilst they increased my monthly payment to pay off an £800 debt I could not influence how much more money I could pay. Having written down the vast majority of the debt, it is now rising again because they’re taking half the payment that they should do to cover my monthly gas and electricity usage. Worse still, there isn’t a human being that you can talk to and it takes about 4 weeks for one to reply to messages. As a result, I’m clearing the outstanding debt and moving to a supplier that can do some elementary financial admin.
App doesn’t work... Cannot connect to the Server!
Been trying to sign up all morning. Website advertises a 60second switch! Am over two hours trying to switch now!!
I must’ve tried 20 times going through the process from scratch each time but when it gets to the final conformation of my bank details for direct debit, I get a message that the app cannot connect to the server! Leaving me having to start all over again! My patience has run out and they have lost a customer! Will investigate other green energy suppliers!
If this is to be an app based service. They should really get an app that works!

Where to start ! They say technology is meant to make our lives easier, however in the case of Pure Planet forget it it’ll only waste hows of your time with no resolve.
I switched via a comparison site and felt quite chuffed I’d be helping the planet too, well the time I’ve wasted so far could have probably been better spent and done more for the planet by planting a new forest.
All I get from these imbeciles each time I log in is start a new quote - ID LIKE THE QUOTE IVE BEEN GIVEN INITIALLY ACTED ON, or at least be able to check its progress.
There’s another thing, logging in ???? - you open the app you click login which you then do by entering your email - it sends you an email where you then have to click the log in again to log in ffs how bloody ridiculous is that, whom ever set up this system and is probably feeling very proud of themselves for it needs a serious slap, I don’t think I ever been so frustrated by what should be such an easy thing to do in this day and age.
