Enjoyable since latest upgrades

Update - I have now awarded 5 stars as the developers have listened to feedback and improved the speed of rewards. Earlier, I could only play for 5 minutes before my energy ran out and this included 2 minutes of ads! Now, I can enjoy the game for longer and can create boosts quickly. Thank you developers. Original post - Great graphics, interesting stories, good puzzles but… … You can only play for a few minutes at a time as the energy is drained very quickly. I have bought lots of “energy capacity” but the cost of each block then matches this increase. More time to play would make this a 5 star review. Otherwise, I think I might give up. Downgraded to 2 stars on 1st July as the bonus videos haven’t worked for the last 2 days (my Wi-Fi is fine!) - I have missed out on all of the daily bonuses as well as double bounties of the elusive mint!

Surprisingly enjoyable

My initial impression of this game was that it didn’t really have puzzles and I was close to deleting it, but I did just want to find out what happened next in the story. A few months later it has become one of my favourite games.

The narrative is very strong, interesting and has a good amount of humour and it really makes the game.

The game uses energy as a measure to stop you completing it all on one go, but its fairly easy to invest your coins etc to buy bigger batteries and faster charging. The game is ad free (there is an annoying pop up to get you to buy gems that i could do without) although you can choose to watch adverts to get extra energy. Same goes for doubling gold and shards when you open a chest.

I believe that games developers should be paid for their work, but i’d much prefer to pay a reasonable fixed fee for permanent extra energy and double chests rather than watch the adverts particularly as they tend to be inappropriate (fixated on gambling). I’d recommend that the devs stop using Unity adverts in favour of something like google which allows users to report adverts.

There are puzzles and occasionally they do require a bit of thought to solve. All in all I’d recommend this game.

Very enjoyable game - until it’s not.

I loved playing this game, good graphics, puzzles that can be tricky but not impossible constant opportunities to get extra energies and to double up - more mint leaves would be handy 😏. Unfortunately it has the same problem as a lot of similar games, the blocks you have to clear and things you need to move, for the puzzles, get more & more expensive so playing time gets shorter and shorter until you need to either buy more energy - which only gives you another few minutes until it’s used up - or wait for your energy to refill. This limits enjoyment and turns it into frustration and eventually loss of interest which is a real shame because it was a good game - but now it’s not.
