Radio Garden Live 12+

I love this app, it is one of my favourites as I love music and love radio and love exploring other cultures. The old version worked perfectly but this new update has wrecked it just to make it look nicer. The globe freezes and glitches out when you try to use your thumb to explore around the world so now it’s a total faff to find other stations meaning now my only options are the stations I had saved as my favourites. Please fix

I don’t review apps as a rule but this..THIS is the best app for discovering music around the world bar none. Not surprisingly the range of musical styles will blow your mind! Personally, I like rock music and one of my favourites is Radio LTB Rock in Istanbul that I am currently listening to on my very old Mac (yes, folks Radio Garden has a brilliant website) so there is no excuse not to have this app at work either..or in your home office during these trying times. I have Adblocker installed on my Mac and AdGuard when using the app via Safari on the iPhone and, bingo! No ads. However, if there is a way to donate some cash to the developers I will do. They are providing a really positive thing for music lovers. I, for one don’t want to travel anywhere abroad at the moment because of different rules regarding COVID tests and the like. Stay safe and travel the world from your bed, sofa or computer chair. You won’t regret it! Rock on!🤘

While the rest of the world is able to use Internet radio as a way of getting a feel for what's happening in other countries. Sony thought it would be a great idea to cut the UK off from the rest of the world. Their greedy lawyers launched a court case in the UK on the basis of copyright, that left the British experience of Internet radio limited to stations already in the UK, because God forbid we would like to have a free and open experience while using the Internet. We now have to put up with the north Korean model on this front, thanks to Sony. The result is what should be a great app has very limited function. Thanks Sony, yet another blow has been struck by you, against freedom.
