The app itself
The radio app is very simple to use and navigate through. Another thing that makes it so much better is you can save your favourite stations and find them quicker than scrolling through awkwardly to find your favourite station
They’ve updated the app to have snowflakes fall on screen, it’s a little touch but one that didn’t fail to make me smile
I highly recommend this app to anyone interested
Overall acceptable but RDS is soo annoying
There were 2 apps - one free and one premium (paid) - in the past, many years ago. I got the premium one at that time. But then the free app disappeared completely snd the premium one got converted from the "one off" payment to a subscription model. There are some features now that I cannot have without a subscription, despite I had the top option of the app earlier, which is s bit disappointing. Nevertheless, the option I have got now still does the basic range of it's job.
The biggest minus in this app is that about 1 year ago the normal european "RDS feature" that was telling you the name od the name of the song and the singer, now runs in chinese hieroglyphs, despite I do not use chinese in my phone, I do not have chinese radio stations etc. Very confusing and even more annoying when willing to check the song or the singer...
Perfect for the very old AND the very cool
I’ve been looking/hoping/wishing for an app exactly like this ever since the the advent of internet radio. Made my day last week when I found it. Perfect for the old fogey like me (or cool retro steampunk like you) who loves tuning through an analog radio. Brilliant. Dear developer —- RESPECT !!!!! :-) . You’re obviously a fellow radio enthusiast. Please keep this going. (Yes, I am a subscriber).
