Raiders of the North Sea 9+

True to the Board Game. Very easy to play, nothing annoying that I’ve noticed as of yet.
The App sometimes Crashes when I Start/Wake it, and on my first Multiplayer game the game hung after I selected the two cards to dump from my starting hand, I restarted the game and it let me replay my move. I imagine these flaws will get ironed out soon so my rating isn’t reflective of this.

I’ve only given it 4* because I think it was too expensive, if I wasn’t already fond of the board game I wouldn’t have paid that kind of money on chance alone.

I would love to see the Expansions added, and Architects of the West Kingdom brought to iOS also, but I worry that the price of this game will result in poor sales, and then the Dev’s won’t be interested in continuing to develop on iOS :(

Good app probably some of the nicest animation I’ve seen in a board game app and the art style and gameplay have transferred over well. The AI I could do with some balancing sometimes you can beat a bot quite easily and other times that same difficulty will turn around and bite you on half.

Online play is very buggy. it crashed three times the first time I played with A friend. A problem setting up a game. two times it froze, one time it said it was my friends turn on my screen and on his screen it said it was my turn. And when the game ended it got stuck in a perpetual loading loop.

Needs some debugging

Having played the cardboard version and knowing the game play was great I was expecting a great App experience. The graphics are great, easy access to rules when you need reminding of things, I love the implementation except for one key thing. Unless I’ve missed something major, the ability to not be able to see the card abilities of my viking home or ship crew to ponder over what to do and make good choices is missing. I can only bring up their abilities when playing a pawn in the appropriate building. This really restricts my tactics.
