- You can only withdraw money from your Transaction Account or Raisin Bank Account to your nominated bank or building society account.
- Messages and documents sent and received securely through your account are encrypted.
- Only you can authorise transactions by entering the mobile verification code we send to you by SMS.
- Your information is protected from unauthorised access through firewalls and 2048-bit PGP data encryption, as well as multi-stage identification and encryption systems.

Ratings and Reviews
Good rates but comes with caveats
Generally they offer competitive rates however be warned that the app is confusing and not intuitive. They give directions which don’t apply to the app as they’re referring to their online account. Also they hold onto funds for 3 working days when making transfers. If you open a new account and fund it from another of their accounts your funds will disappear for a day or 2 from the account and show £0 which is very disconcerting.
Awful. Avoid.
I’m assuming that Raisin is profiting from taking aaaaages longer than any other bank to transfer money. It is completely unreasonable that an ‘instant’ access account takes days for a transfer to move when all other banks seem to manage it instantaneously.
However on top of having to check day after day to complete a two step transaction, even worse your money disappears during this time. It doesn’t show in the balances anywhere in the app or on the website if you use that instead. Was there ever a time on the history of internet banking where you just had to hope that your money existed when it stopped showing on your statements?
Rates might be competitive but hard to trust a bank that can’t get the basics right
Making life easier
I have 8 savings bonds through the platform, which would normally mean 8 lots of bothersome applications. Great interest rates and I can see all my accounts with one log in. The negative reviews on here seem to be from people who have not read the short and clear terms on the site. It is made clear setting up a new account and the time between an account maturing or a withdrawal from an account may take up to four days.
