Great tv
Hi just wanted to say Thankyou for a great app especially while we’re on lockdown with the kids n grandkids my son and daughter are both keyworkers one a shopworker the other an ambulance driver so on their behalf Thankyou I appreciate it being there it gives me some time to myself lol if I had the money spare ( I’m disabled) I would defiantly buy the option but as I have no spare money we’ll just stick with the adverts on the free films Thankyou again you’re being a live saver for me and the grandchildren ***** more if I could
Inconsiderate procedures - movie expired 15 mins before the end of it and never got to see the end.
I have had Rakuten for ages but really started using it again after I got a free first time voucher. Have rented quite a lot of movies and though service was ok until today - decided to finish watching a movie i got over the weekend and my rent period expired 15 mins before the end of the movie!!!!! There was no warning that the film will just be stopped and honestly i assumed the time i had remaining on the rent would be from when I started to watch it. That is so inconsiderate- either put a warning message to say that there isn’t enough time left on the rental to watch the whole film or change how the timings work, surely if you started watching it whilst you’re still within the 48 hours paid for you should be allowed to watch it until the end ! So frustrating!!!!!
You have no control over screen size
I recently downloaded Rakuten tv for my new smart tv and thought it was great bought a few movies and then downloaded them onto my iPhone in UHD. I then went to watch these movies and to my dismay saw that it took up a fraction of the screen, however remained optimistic as I believed it was like Netflix where simply pinching the screen would fix the issue, however this isn’t the case and you have no control over screen size at all in the app. I found this very disappointing, as well as the fact that the help centre had no information on how to solve the problem. So overall very disappointed with the mobile version of the app and wouldn’t recommend getting it unless you have a smart tv.
