The card is so easy to use it sometimes asks for a pin that once I figured that out I had no problems. Add your bank card details before you leave for your holiday as if you need to top up your card abroad it needs all the information on you card to do this. I had a panic when I was away as I didn’t do this and didn’t have my bank card with me once I got all my details (phoned home and got this sorted) it was so easy to top up. Once home I then switched my current currency for another very easily. I would definitely recommend the card.

Was travelling to Spain last week March 2024 Travelled to Ramsdens for currency exchange at Peterhead BranchWas looking to get €600 euroThe girl said to get the New Ramsdens cardAnd would get a better exchange rate Advised a lot better than old card and would work on My Apple Phone no problem,So did €300 cash and set up new Pre pay MastercardThe girl at store set up the app on my phone We couldn't get it to work and she had to phone said would be set up later within 1 hour , and would take longer to cancel. I was leaving that afternoon so went home and the app did start working that afternoon,Tried to add to Apple Pay as the girl said would work , and Ramsdens is not compatible with Apple Pay only google paySo really disappointed, I have revolut and never had a problemAlso while travelling not able to use on the plane both ways for refreshments or duty freeAlso managed only 2 small transactions in Spain, tried to use at Alicante Airport and wouldn't work there asked for Authorisation and could not get my app to work at the Airport so had to use My Amex cardReally disappointed in the whole experience Went Back to Ramsdens and said was unhappy you Carnt take money out only in Pounds and charged both ways if doing this to convert it Would strongly not recommend this card If using Apple Pay RegardsJames Murphy

Easy to use once set up easier to top up online than in branch as they had a issue with trying to top up so after a phone call to Mastercard they told me to come back in next day but I just decided to try it on the app and it was so easy to do.Have used my card once to pay someone in Norway and it was no problem.So looking forward to using the card in Canada later this year.

I had waited a long time for Ramsdens to introduce a travel card and it has proved to be excellent in all ways. Easy to top up and much easier to spend your money. I highly recommend this card and the rates are very good to.
