The RedCards app is free to download on both Google Play and the Apple store.

There are hundreds of titles on this app.

More titles are being added daily.

Most of the titles are completely free, but some of the titles like those from a publisher called Canelo are restricted to the first two chapters. To read these few restricted titles one needs to pay £4.99 per month.

I like this app because:

1. They have dyslexia filters, which increase the contrast between the text and the background.

2. The content is broken down into very easily digestible chunks of text (1-2 paragraphs depending on the number of words in each paragraph).

3. The words are decently spaced out.

4. There are good gaps between lines.

5. The text is shown on the screen as though it is written on playing cards.

6. The background and the playing cards are beautifully designed.

7. One can change the background to cats or dogs or clouds or various other themes.

Not having much time to pull out a book and read, this app and concept enables me to read whenever i want at a moment’s notice. Its helping me find time to read again. 🙏

The large number of free books are great. Some lovely classics from my childhood.

Love this app. Such a great idea for taking in lots of great content in a short time. The art direction on the cards adds something special too. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for short reads on their commute or just looking to get more reading into their busy lives.
