Real Racing 3 4+

If you want a good racing game on a budget buy and Xbox 360 and the best Forza you can get for it. It’ll be cheaper than trying to complete this. Honestly who actually spends real car money on a digital version of a car? You can have an actual jalopy from eBay to bash about in and not have to service every five minutes or some gold (which still isn’t enough) to buy a car you cant really have. The answer to that question seems to be a great many people given the success of this game. Much of it is well earned. The graphics are brilliant (add weather and get more of the dashboard working!). The tracks are fairly accurate for a small mobile game. But the physics needs work as does the pricing of in game purchases and premium cars. It is ludicrous how much EA Games and Firemonkeys expect you to invest in this. It’s a game on your phone. Something that 8-10 years ago you’d play for five minutes while having a poo. Now it’s pitched financially at least as a rival for a console game. It’s beyond belief at times how much they expect you to pay in to get something.

First of all there is a plethora of actual game content. With hundreds, if not thousands of races and cars to complete and buy, this game is highly addictive and will have you spending hours in order to achieve cars like the Buggati Chiron or the Mclaren MPX-4. Unfortunately the game is completely ruined by the fact that the before mentioned cars and 99% of others cost around 600 gold (£30/40). Even when you’ve worked tirelessly to reach the point you can actually unlock these cars to purchase. EA, being the generous, player-centric people they are allow you to earn this gold yourself, of course! You can earn 1-2 gold for achievements, of which there are around 6 so there’s at least 12 gold to get you on your way to that 600 needed for a car. This means that when you finally reach the end of the game, all the actually good cars are off bounds, unless you pay money, meaning you are literally forced to pay, and I calculated this, roughly £1,500, to unlock every car in the game. That is if you want to unlock them before your grandchildren have kids. For that price you can load up autotrader, buy an actual car, and race it round your local race track, and still have money to buy an Xbox and Forza. So if you are thinking of downloading, I’d say do it, but don’t expect to complete the game, just have fun in the first few hours!

Ok let's get this straight. The game play is superb. But if you want the best cars you have to spend money - so far I have spent 20 GBP - or race and win money, which will take a long time. A decent car is the Mclaren F1, costs 1.2 million. Average win money is 7k - you can do the maths on how long it will take you to accumulate the money. That's if you don't crash your car or service it which all takes money.
This is where the game is a let down . I would like to know why it can take up to 10 hours (I'm not kidding) to service a car? In this case the MacLaren F1? If I have paid good money for a product then I am entitled to use it when I wish or am I wrong? Like I said, I've spent 20 GBP on this product and can't use the car I bought with that money coz its in for a service all the time! And why isn't replay feature on this like there was in Real Racing Two? If I pay for something then I want to use it when I want not when you say. Ten hours to service a car is unacceptable - half an hour max. Do you get me EA? Also,once you have got your car you have to up grade it to finish all the levels. More money for EA!
The new update is too big for my phone. Can't down load it without deleting all my apps. Spent 20 GBP on this. A waste of money. Well done ES
Ok I managed to down load the game after deleting it. Guess what? I've lost all my game data! That's 20 GBP in ES account for nothing. Never
