Redeemer Lutheran College, Biloela, is located in the Callide Valley, a rural and mining community. The College offers another choice for families in the Callide Valley seeking primary and secondary education for their children. Redeemer is a single-stream, co-educational facility catering for Preparatory to Year Ten. An education at Redeemer gives each student the opportunity to grow in confidence and intellect academically, physically, socially and spiritually, and develop values, within the context of a Christian community.
Redeemer Lutheran College, Biloela is a part of the Lutheran Education Australia system and operates as a college of the Lutheran Education Queensland (LEQ) district. Lutheran schools have had a strong tradition in education in Australia since 1839. Redeemer, as one of these schools, is working to continue this tradition, recognising the importance of a broad education for young people which allows them to experience life in all its fullness under the grace of God (John 10:10).
Our College recognises that it is important to prepare our students, in partnership with parents, for their life for the future. We promote learning and growth in students as individuals, while also encouraging students, staff and families to be involved in our community. Assisting all students to develop strong Literacy and Numeracy skills and catering for their individual learning needs is a major focus for Redeemer staff.
We're pleased to have worked with App City to develop our School App. This app will give parents and friends the opportunity to be kept informed of the College's activities through notifications, events, photos and newsletters.
