Reface: Face Swap AI Photo 12+

I’ve subscribed to Reface for 2 years now, I have no complaints but I can no longer afford it and want to unsubscribe, however even though I’ve followed their ‘ instruction ‘ on unsubscribing I’m unable to get to a point where I can. I get lead round in a circle and still I’m locked into an automatic subscription. Will you please unsubscribe me , or demonstrate clearly how to do it. Every other app has a straight forward process except yours. I feel your bolting me in and making it impossible to unsubscribe. Please release me from your subscription before mid March when you automatically take your subscription cost. Thank you

… with offers appearing and disappearing but what really put me off was the unexpected roadblock request to scan and hold all my biometric data (you mean the stuff that is held to be as good as identifying me?!) for 3 years but trust us we would only release it to {a long string of state institutions, who these days you could be excused for not trusting to act in the spirit of compassion and humility but instead believe they have the mandate to rule over others because they can command police and military force and good old checks and balances aren’t as reassuring as they once were, perhaps noting these days they’re more honoured in the breach than the observance} was a bit much for me to swallow at this time in the morning without getting a team of expert professional legal advisors to opine first. The freebie instead which enabled me to get a taster by substituting a face onto a chap saying how to handle insults: “cry, take it personally and don’t forget to hate them until you die” (yes I quote) was just a wee bit too dark for my taste, albeit dark humour may be the best defence for these dark times; but really it did nothing for my propensity to buy, nor to recommend this particular example of an app that enhances users abilities to deceive to quite an alarming extent in my humble opinion. I’ve been trying different types of face swap apps. This was so famous that I need to try and see it for myself. I paid subscription for 1 week just to see what’s it like.

It’s good. You can do so many types of face swap in gif animations videos voices etc.

However! I was a little let down by something.

Any video you post are compressed. So you kinda lose its quality with the final piece.

Another thing that bothers me. I feel unsafe using the app. The feeling was. There is no output of the videos you’ve posted. And you don’t know what happens to these outputs. I just wish there was some kind of option to view back what we’ve created. And then we can decide to keep or remove.

The impression I am getting is, we are constantly being check or monitored are we breaking the terms of service. Which kinda spoils the fun.

I understand keeping the app safe from bad actors violating the terms of service etc. but this can put me off from posting my own personal video up knowing my work is constantly being checked.

I wish the app will have some output feature allowing us to have the freedom to see what we’ve created previously like facemagic. So we can then either choose to share or delete.

Cause right now we are constantly creating and creating not knowing what happens to all the previous things we created. And we couldn’t view it back. Maybe something you can reconsider in the future.

Hi! We appreciate your feedback a lot! The video quality is compressed to 720p by default. Otherwise the app hangs and does not work correctly. Each swapped or animated video should be played as a preview right after the app has processed it. Once you watch the preview, you can save each clip or image to your devices gallery, share it on social media directly from the app, or just return to the app and the video will be deleted.
