Description

Remote-RED gives you mobile access to your Node-RED dashboard at home. It creates a tunnel between your home network and your mobile device.

But Remote-RED extends your Node-RED by a lot more. The following functions are already possible:
- Access to your Node-RED Dashboard
- Access to other websites in your local network, as long as they meet certain requirements (see terms of use).
- Push notifications from Node-RED to your mobile device
- Answers to questions in push notifications that trigger actions in Node-RED
- iOS Shortcuts to trigger actions in Node-RED or to use context variables from Node-RED in iOS
- Geofences to control your local Node-RED

Geofencing! You can add geofences in the apps. Entering and leaving them will trigger a message on the new output of the remote access node.

It’s just a webview

This app seems to be just a webview wrapper for the standard Node-RED mobile browser interface. Experience is worse than just using iOS Safari directly as you have to add a custom palette and perform a daft QR code process to connect to your instance.

Behind this is a proxy function which tunnels your Node-RED, so you can access inform outside of your Network. There are also notifications, shortcut app integration and geofencing. More than an webview..

Paid for the remote access subscription but cannot connect to any of my instances - please refund

Sorry. Sometimes there are network issues to solve before. I increase compatibility as I can. Refunds are done by Apple through the „Report a problem“ webpage.
