Ren Repairs is a housing app that enables Renfrewshire Council tenants to report repairs inside their home and arrange a gas servicing appointment. It is a simple process that sends the details of the repair, where it’s located, allow tenants to attach an image and confirm their availability for the appointment to be undertaken.
Renfrewshire Council receives the report and communicates with the tenant using the app within 24 hours Monday-Friday. This means all messages are sent and received by the app, so that the tenant can easily see all the comments, questions, and the repairs process can be managed as quickly as possible. The app allows tenants to report multiple problems/ repairs and see them all separately.
In addition to housing repairs reporting, Ren Repairs provides tenants with a range of information and other services. There is access to Jobcentre Plus and a range of local services, news etc.

Fab app
Easy to use, covers most common repairs with option to add other not so common ones. You have option to add photos of problem/repair. Messages come through app to keep you up to date on progress. Repairs scheduled and carried out at date/time convenient to me. Brilliant!!
Suggested Fix
Good app and easy to use. The only improvement I’d like to see would be an alert tone and badge icon alert when a message or update is received. The settings indicate that this is possible but don’t actually do it. The only way to tell is by going into the app and then you see if you have a message received.

Used this to report a house repair. Easy to use and covers everything I think.
Got a message through the app the next day to confirm appointment.
