Ultrawide monitor FOV?

So happy to see this appear on the app store, and great to see Capcom going the extra mile for Mac support. On a side note, if gaming on an ultrawide (32:9), the field of view makes the game ...difficult. Performance is great even at high resolution and the game is awesome, just a little fix for super ultrawide would be great!

Not as good as I’d hoped

I absolutely love resi 4 -
It’s my all time favourite game. I’m playing it on my iPhone 15 pro max so here’s my experience.

Firstly the game looks fantastic. The graphics and detail are amazing .

But..
I find the text too small. I can barely make out some of it!
The download took hours even with a good strength wifi.

I bought the controller and feel like this was a purchase that you need to make which is a real shame - but I just felt so nauseous trying to use the controls on my phone. The controller didn’t take over all the controls though!
X on the controller isn’t a replacement for X on the phone - so you will have to tap the phone to do certain things which I personally found annoying and slows down game play at vital times.

My phone gets SO hot - even after just 20 minutes, and if battery isn’t around 80% to start with it can suddenly drop by 20% or more!

I don’t feel The free part is enough to decide if you want to buy the game either.

I wanted this to be better than it was but hopeful over time these things can be improved on

Disappointing

This is a big disappointment after how good RE:Village looked on my iPad Pro. Resident Evil: Village had lots of graphical options and looked great (especially when I turned Metal FX upscaling off, which I did pretty quickly because it makes everything look worse) on my iPad.

By contrast, Resident Evil 4: Remake has none of the graphical options of Village and has Metal FX upscaling turned on by default, so the image looks terrible. It particularly makes hair look like a pixelated mess and looks very low res. The environment detail looks very low quality compared to RE:V too.

I was really looking forward to buying this like I did RE:V, but after playing the demo I really can’t justify paying for this ugly mess. It was actually making me feel queasy watching it in motion.

I hope more graphical options and higher quality assets are added in an update, at least for the iPad version. I won’t be buying it until they are.
