Not as good as I’d hoped

I absolutely love resi 4 -
It’s my all time favourite game. I’m playing it on my iPhone 15 pro max so here’s my experience.

Firstly the game looks fantastic. The graphics and detail are amazing .

But..
I find the text too small. I can barely make out some of it!
The download took hours even with a good strength wifi.

I bought the controller and feel like this was a purchase that you need to make which is a real shame - but I just felt so nauseous trying to use the controls on my phone. The controller didn’t take over all the controls though!
X on the controller isn’t a replacement for X on the phone - so you will have to tap the phone to do certain things which I personally found annoying and slows down game play at vital times.

My phone gets SO hot - even after just 20 minutes, and if battery isn’t around 80% to start with it can suddenly drop by 20% or more!

I don’t feel The free part is enough to decide if you want to buy the game either.

I wanted this to be better than it was but hopeful over time these things can be improved on

Not worth it

A ps4 is going to cost around £150 with a copy of the game £200 and a base iPad total of £700 you can remote play the game with ps4 and get the same or even better experience for much less price I got the demo running on iPad Pro m4 and from what I’ve seen ps4 is running the game much cheaper and better if you going to get an iPad or an iPhone to play games like this you might want to invest the money more wisely don’t get me wrong it is impressive that you can play the games like this on portable devices but because you can doesn’t mean that you should.

My all time favourite game

I have always loved resident evil 4 and when I saw it had come to the iPhone it was a no brainier for me . It runs really well no issues , the atmosphere is amazing and gameplay is smooth . I bought the backbone and that works really well definitely better with it than without . I hope they bring more titles to the iPhone .
