Description
ResizeIt allows you to change the size of multiple images simultaneously. It can also convert file formats at the same time. It supports multi core and processes multiple images very fast.
When the app is launched the file open dialog will be shown, so please choose photo files to be processed, then the app shows setting window. Dragging and dropping photo files can be accepted too. Then just input setting and hit Resize button and it's done.
The setting can be saved as preset.
If the aspect ratio have to be kept, just input 0 to height or width then ResizeIt automatically calculate the appropriate value and resize. For example input H:500 W:0, ResizeIt calculate width to keep aspect ratio.
Please refer to manual about other details. Manual can be shown by choose ResizeIt>Manual menu when setting window is shown.

Very good app
Very good app, flattens out the image to remove the colour profile so images can be uploaded to websites without trouble. Sadly like most image utils it removes the EXIF data which is very annoying for photographers uploading to sharing sites.
Closest I’ve found to doing what I need
It’s surprising how difficult it is to find an app that coverts a single image or more to set of varying sizes. My website needs 8 different sizes for every unique image. Not only does this app do that, it helpfully places each set in a folder with the same name as the title of each “recipe”.
It’s great and the only one of its kind that works the way I need it.
The only reason for giving it just four stars is that the app closes automatically after it completes the batch and the Script > Create droplet… option does nothing. The droplet would make this app perfect for me.
Fantastic
Returned from the Edinburgh Fringe with hundreds of photos that need to be reduced in size to make into a useable slide show. Downloaded this. Pointed it at the folder of photos. Set the required parameters. Pointed it at a new folder in the Mac’s Pictures folder. to save the processed images. Done.
Suspect some users need to read the manual or understand what this does. It has been around for 10 years. Software does not last that long if it does not work.
