Great for locals and tourists. Better on the iPad than iPhone. Great for a freebie!
The best part about this publication is that it lists, in date order, what events are happening in the Bournemouth and local area, from beginning of April to the end of October - so it is easy to see what is going on when you need it.
Also has write-ups/descriptions of the different main places in the area - Bournemouth, Poole, Weymouth etc. I am a Bournemouth resident and i have just found out about a local free museum in Christchurch which i hadn't known about until seeing this app.
This publication does have LOADS of adverts and stuff which can be a bit overpowering (for a local, but probably useful for visitors/tourists) - however as a free app and publication of course it is going to have adverts in!
Works lovely on the iPad - just like a magazine with flip pages and double page spreads when in landscape mode. Perhaps a little small on the iPhone, lots of zooming in required but still usuable and still free!
Great for Bournemouth residents AND tourists - definately worth a download in my opinion.

Helpful for planning events and for ideas of things to do, places to go etc. Best viewed on PC or iPad.
Better than v1.2
This version is much better than the last, much crisper! But as others have said I'm sure this is better viewed on an iPad, bit to small on the iPhone. Still can't double tap to enlarge a paragraph of text whisk is odd as you can on PDFs on the phone which is effectively what this is? Meaning you have to pinch zoom all the time. Also the redraw is a little slow, maybe a lower resolution version for the iPhone would speed it up a little? But credit due to the developer for taking note of the comments and trying to address the issues.
