• Preset Suggestions: We’ve added a smart new way to discover presets that match your unique style. Tap the 'Discover' icon at the beginning or end of the preset list to explore personalized suggestions and capture everyday moments that truly reflect you.
• New Flash Modes: Say hello to two new flash options! The torch flash, previously available only in video mode, is now supported for photos as well—great for brightening low-light scenes. And for selfies, try the ring flash on the front camera, which casts a soft white glow around your face for a beautifully lit portrait.

Just.. Wow
This is exactly the kind of app I have been looking for a while. The filters are high quality and the app is easy to use and virtually ad free.
There’s lots of free filters to choose from and very usable without the premium subscription. I don’t personally like the look of the oversaturated photos that iPhones normally have, this makes me love my camera again!
Only things I would suggest for improvement would be the ability to take portrait shots and cinematic video. If this would be possible it would likely replace the stock camera app for most of my needs

Great filters, poor service
I have been using Retrica for years, always loved it, made my pictures look 10x better. Can’t fault their wide range of options or the quality of the filters. However, I once paid for retrica pro, which was the premium app which allowed you access to even more filters. Very shortly after they got rid of this app and made all the filters that I had paid to use free to everyone (leaving me wondering why I bothered paying). Now, I go on the app, see that more filters have been added, but yet again they expect you to pay to use them. Bit of a con really, the people who paid for retrica pro should at least be offered the filters for free after essentially wasting their money.
Such a shame, on all other aspects, it’s a wonderful app with beautiful filters.
A pity
I know the app has recently changed to paid / subscription … is this the reason why that photos no longer save and after taking 1 photo there’s the pop up message re subscription? Such a shame as this was my go to app. Will the photos save if I choose to subscribe?

Hi, Thanks for the inquiry. There is a possibility that the grain feature is turned on. Please turn off the grain at the controller, a deep gray bar at the bottom of the screen. the [Grain] feature's icon looks like a circle with lots of dots in it.
If you need further, please check and manage your photo quality at the setting menu as you want.
