RFS - Real Flight Simulator 4+

Awesome game but a tiny issue.....

The graphics are great and as far as I’m aware from previous reviews, still being improved, the physics are good, a lot better than many mobile friendly simulators, a huge selection of aircraft in the pro version, which is more than worth the price of £27 annual subscription, I really enjoy multiplayer, mainly flying the f18 with other players doing some aerobatics and formation flying, I would personally like to see some more fighter jets (particularly the euro fighter typhoon) although I’m sure these will come with time as the f18 is a new addition, one of the main down sides though is that if you play in multiplayer mode you can’t pause the game (for obvious reasons) but when on auto pilot I would suggest that the game not kick you out the server when a notification pops up on my phone or you have to minimise the app to read a text message or answer a phone call etc. Especially when you’re doing an event that is a 7hr flight because now I have to start all over again although my plane was on autopilot, I don’t think I will do the event now because 7.5 hours is a long time to commit to using my phone without being able to send or receive any messages, I hope the developers take this into account because other than that this game is by far the best simulator I have played in mobile and would highly recommend at least trying the free version before deciding not to purchase a subscription which is totally worth the money

It’s truly an amazing game and you can trust in it, it may seem pretty hard at first but follow the flight checklists and you’ll get there eventually. The subscription is totally worth it and the graphics are fabulous too, the cockpits are exactly the same as real life! I used this game to start learning more about planes, I started playing all the way back in 2019 and helped me progress to learn so much now that I know, most of my knowledge of knowing how to fly planes is coming from this game! I just want to say thank you so much to the game creators as recently I have managed to now fly my own plane in real life and RFS taught me most of the controls on a REAL LIFE plane. Trust me if you are looking to learn how to successfully operate a plane and have fun with flying and communicating with other online pilots, then RFS is the starting point of your flight career, even without spending money you get some basic, good planes to fly and have fun with! Thank you so much RFS because of you I will most likely be a pilot when I can.

Idiot ATC Users, Lack of Airports & Impossible Weather

Played the free version for a bit and liked it so signed up for the paid pro version, this is where it all went wrong. Whilst the variety of planes is good there are not enough proper airports with gates instead you get a lot of major airports that are just a random bit of tarmac. The weather is completely messed up, it randomly puts you in major storms at approach and landing at airports where you would never ever get weather like this. It makes it impossible to land and therefore forces a crash. Then there is the worst part, the idiot ATC users who are given a kick button in ATC Report play, I liked this mode as I enjoy the ATC element and know how to make the calls. Unfortunately you get ATC users who just abuse it and mess you about with bogus calls, stupid runway changes, you can’t change a runway on approach, so then they kick you or they simply don’t answer requests and kick you then. These people are absolute scum and know fine rightly what they are doing. But yet there is no way we can report them! I now have to avoid this mode because of them. It makes events hard to play too, which is bad as they are normally good to fly. I am considering not renewing my subscription because of all this. If they sorted these issues out this would be a 5 star review, what a real shame!
