Ratings and Reviews
Good but not great
Enjoyed the game and was worth the money. A good mixture of puzzles from fairly simple to downright tricky. Although I didn’t need it I liked the fact that you couldn’t get stuck as you could auto complete a puzzle after a given amount of time. Other reviews talk about crashes and glitches but I didn’t encounter any, the game ran smoothly from start to finish.
Just one question, what was the final drug induced psychedelic level all about.........
Ps, looking forward to the next episode........ I think?
Has potential but let down by poor quality controls and English
This is evidently aimed at fans of The Room but despite a valiant effort it falls a long way short. Firstly, and most infuriating, is the appalling and frequently incoherent English language. Why don’t developers run their scripts by a native speaker to see if they are actually making sense? Secondly, the swipe control mechanism is far too sensitive and, at times, erratic...back to the drawing board on coding folks! The story hangs together (just) until you hit the whole ‘eye in the sky’ chapter when you wonder if you’ve accidentally overdosed on something ‘entertaining’. The puzzles are generally pretty well thought out (I personally don’t like spatial puzzles like the ‘rubic cube’ and the glass cylinder - although the graphics on the latter are excellent, I just can’t do them! Hint for the similarly afflicted...if you sit on a puzzle you can’t do, wait for all the hints and then stay there it will eventually let you skip it!). Graphics and music track are pretty good and, if you ignore the English, erratic control and the weird “LSD trip” chapter, it’s quite a classy little game.
Lots of bugs but good idea
I have managed to finish the game, had to report some bugs which the developer was very responsive in fixing. Although there was one free "pass" which I had to use on the cylinder puzzle, was stuck for days on it and could not solve it for the life of me.
I felt the game lost the plot slightly in chapter 3 with the eye in the sky, there was a loose story up until this point and I felt like I was in a completely other game from look and feel.
The major bug about this game is it is rather unforgiving in you must align things absolutely perfectly to solve a puzzle. For this type of game that can be quite hard to do. I lucked out on the horoscope puzzle after a dozen attempts that finally got a version with the sun at 12 o'clock and it took the "cap". Any other version I could not finish even though I had worked out what needed to be done.
I enjoyed the game but it is not as slick as the Room games.
