Description
Ringing Room is an online platform that allows bell ringers to ring together online.
With this app you can make your own tower, or join other people's towers.
Once inside a tower, you can:
• Ring the bells!
• Make calls
• Assign ringers to bells
• Change the tower size
• Switch between hand bells and tower bells
• Send messages to the other ringers
Features coming soon:
• An interface to control Wheatley (a ringing bot)
• Ability to change tower settings
• User account settings
What’s New
Version 1.1
Added support for responding to the new full and toll muffled modes. These modes can only be changed on the Ringing Room website. If the muffled mode is changed, you will need to leave and rejoin the tower for it to take effect in the app.

Useful alternative to PC
This is a good app to use on a tablet or phone. Works well when I have used this rather than a P C.
Not sure how to program Wheatley?
Great app! Far better than the website for on the go, but can’t find a way to tell Wheatley to ring a certain method from my iPhone. I have to program it from a PC or laptop.

You're right that this version doesn't include a control interface for Wheatley but a future version will add this feature (as mentioned in the app description). You're also correct about the current workaround which is to control Wheatley from the web app interface, but you can do this using a browser on your iPhone or iPad, so you don't need to have access to a PC or laptop.
