Rise of Cultures: Kingdom game 9+

I’ve been playing this for nearly 3 years! I enjoy the fact that you’re rewarded for efficiency, the placement and timing is the key to progression. I’ve never spent any money on the game, I guess I’m patient and don’t feel the need to buy gems to help me progress. A handful of times I’ve watched an ad to gain research points if I need one or two to get me over the line in a task but otherwise it’s entirely possible to have loads of fun without spending money. The game is really well researched and occasionally I look up aspects of cultural history to find out about it. The allied cultures are a really fun addition to the main city, I don’t really get involved with the alliances or the negotiation section but that what’s great, I can ignore certain aspects and it dosent affect the gameplay. Overall I think it’s a clever and enjoyable game, I thank the developers for such a brilliant effort and feel bad that I haven’t given you any money.
The only problem now is that I’ve caught up the developers so I’m waiting for the release of the new era! Five stars. Xxxxx

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to!
I saw this and decided I’ll give it a go, like many other games I get curious and then soon find out there’s too many ads or it isn’t as good as it looked on apps store.. but this! It’s perfectly made, it hasn’t got ads, it’s easy to understand, it’s fun, it’s visually appealing, just everything about it is fantastic! I love civilisation but I find there’s too many components to it sometimes and the game can get a bit much but this is beautifully simplified, and easy to just have some fun before bed or when I’m relaxing!
I’m in the Bronze Age now, I haven’t been able to put my iPad down. I love that the little blue bottle thingies recharge overnight so it makes it easy to progress through the game, it doesn’t force me to buy anything to progress! thanks for making such a lovely game!

Update: Thank you for the premium safety feature. I’ve stuck with the game and am improving my original review. I’m looking forward to seeing the new content as you develop it while enjoying what you’ve already published. Very nice game! :)

Relaxed, semi-educational village builder game. Fantastic graphics and a wonderful idea. It’s in need of more content throughout the ages, but the basics are great. Very difficult to spend more on premium as there are no purchase confirm safeguards and it is incredibly easy to accidentally brush/tap the premium button and throw away ££’s here, and until that is fixed, we won’t spend more with you. I’d happily buy premium for the luxury farms and cultural spots, but when you so easily accidentally lose it, there is little point. I wrote to the support staff who pretty much disregarded it and said they would put one in soon. Refunding and correcting the error would have been the appropriate action. Looking forward to seeing how it develops as I think the game is great - and would spend money on it once that is addressed.
