Owners of RJ's incredible catalogue of music on Vinyl, CD and Cassette can use the app to hover over the artwork and unlock ever-evolving Augmented Reality experiences, created by RJ and the team at Spark Lab to extend the world surrounding his records.
Available experiences:
Yearbook
Owners of Yearbook on Vinyl and CD can use the app to unlock hundreds of time, year and weather dependent front covers. Additional experiences, including cassette demos, to be released in the coming weeks.
Lifeline
Owners of Lifeline on Vinyl and CD can use the app to unlock time and weather dependent front covers, demo versions of tracks from the album, video content and much more. A smaller experience is available to Cassette owners.
Lifeline (Unplugged)
Owners of Lifeline (Unplugged) on Vinyl and CD can use the app to unlock live performance videos of several of the tracks.
Echo Chamber
Owners of Echo Chamber on Vinyl and CD can use the app to unlock an animated front cover that displays news headlines of the day. Deluxe Edition owners also get added video content.
Live Vol. 1
Owners of Live Vol. 1 on Vinyl and CD can use the app to unlock several alternative, animated, front covers.
Live at Abbey Road
Owners of Live at Abbey Road on Vinyl and CD can use the app to unlock several alternative, animated, front covers and and Vinyl users also get video experiences on the inner gatefold.

Great concept, well executed

This is a game changer in album design!
Being able to bring albums to life, always changing bringing a whole new modern aspect to traditional physical ownership of music.
The app and all it’s features work flawlessly and I’m excited to see what else comes along within the app.

Great idea but manual mode is broken
Lovely idea! However live mode just adds sound effects of seagulls and chatter, no augmented anything. Manual mode (which I presume would allow you to sect different weather conditions?) is locked on Cloudy and again no augmented anything

Hi there... thank you for the feedback.
Just to highlight a couple of points, the Live Mode is synced to your local weather / time of day (within 15 minutes). There are dozens of front cover variations, but one of those variations is very similar to the original artwork... and that is the "Cloudy" artwork. So there is the possibility that you were simply viewing the record at a cloudy point of the day. Please try scanning the record at night, or during different weather elements to see the AR in all it's glory.
And Manual Mode allows you to select different weather conditions ONCE you've discovered them in live mode... allowing you to revisit what you've already found etc. So that is why it is locked to Cloudy on your instance of the app... because that is all you have discovered so far.
