Description

Designed specifically for Driving Instructors in the UK, Road Board is the essential tool for laying out different scenarios as you explain them to your pupil.

Road Board includes 50 different road situations, including all the most common road and junction types (see below for a full list). You can add cars, pedestrians, other road users, obstacles, road markings etc to the situation. As you add items to the view, you can move them around, rotate them, make them disappear - whatever you need to do to illustrate your point. With the touch of a button, you can also draw on the view.

Use the included road situations as a basis to create your own custom backgrounds and save them for later use. You can also save "live" scenes, enabling you to set up your most commonly used situations just as you need them, then bring them up instantly in a lesson with just a couple of taps.

Road Board is designed to be simple yet highly versatile. A great deal of care has been applied to making sure the diagrams in this app are genuinely representative of the roads in Britain.

Just bought the latest iPad (6thG) when I try to name the live scenes they won’t go in alphabetical or numerical order do you think an update is required

Excellent

I have never met so many critical people in my life, until I became an ADI.
First off, these are excellent for an ADI to have taken the time to learn and create as many situations as possible. Off course there’s dead ends… it’s called the edge of the screen! It can’t possibly cover every situation, but if enough ‘ask’ a developer, they generally put it in. Off course there will be glitches sometimes, just as there is in ‘Your training ability’.
For the amount of downloads, compared to reviews, it seems the satisfied say nothing and the slightest fault is then followed up by a 2 star review. No wonder developer doesn’t want to make them anymore.
Yes I have the ability to make apps, but it will take a braver person than me to provide it to ADI’s.
Like I have always said “the only thing that two ADI’s will agree on, is that the third is doing it wrong”.
Fantastic apps that all my instructors have used for at least the last 5 years and for us, worth every penny.

Carzune driving school

After many year of teaching with colourfile professional I recently decided to try teaching on the iPad, I think the app is great, also allows you to email students lesson plans, easier to explain and very useful.
