Keep your number
Just enter your number into the app and we take it from here. No duplicate calls or numbers. No complicated setup. When people call you, the app will automatically pick up the call and transcribe. When you want to call, just dial a number or select from your contacts.

Thanks to voice recognition, your calls are private. No third party is involved in your calls. The transcribed conversation is only between you and your contact.

Free or paid, you choose
We offer free app-to-app calls between Rogervoice users. You can also choose one of our paid plans to call landline and mobile numbers. Your paid plan includes incoming calls and number transfers, depending on your country. See our pricing plans on our website or in the app. You can cancel your plan anytime.
Note: Rogervoice does NOT work with short-form numbers and emergency numbers. Use your mobile carrier’s native dialer to make emergency calls.
Two-sided captions
Rogervoice is free for your hearing friends and family. Simply ask them to download the app and use our app-to-app calling services. They can read a copy of the transcriptions as they speak and be assured that you’re catching what they’re saying.

Groundbreaking technology for oral Deaf
This is a powerful leveller for deaf users who are deaf with reasonable speech that is clear enough for strangers to understand you. If strangers don’t understand you then it’s not for you. It has to be for strangers who can understand you without looking at your face.
My experience is that the person you are calling will have already met you and knows your speech patterns, if you need to call this person, they will be already familiar with you because of previous face to face meetings.
The drawbacks are that you need to have very strong mobile reception and good large bandwidth. This will come with experience so you know what the quality of the call be like. Also background noises such as road noise via hands free, it doesn’t work well on the transcription and vice versa not being able to hear you well. I hope this will improve in time.
This app made my work so much easier and reduces the burden on others to make calls for you. Huge potential saving on costs especially if you employ a telephonist for answering and making your business calls.

Love the app, only one thing that I think could make it better
I love this app it has been a game changer for me. The only problem, is not with the app but it is with people hanging up when they hear the computer voice. I am disabled and I am completely unable to speak on the phone. It would be a really great addition to this app to have the option of a short automatic message briefly explaining something like “this is a text-phone for disabled people and people who cannot use a standard phone. It is a real person, please do not hang up and allow them time to text”. I got hung up on 8 times trying to talk to the royal-mail about a lost parcel because you only have a couple of seconds to type before they decide it’s a scam/robot and I tried “hello, I had a phone call about a parcel” and then I tried “please don’t hang up, wait for me to type” so something like that would be very helpful.
My life can be very isolating with my disability and so many places still require you to have phone conversations. Which leaves me very stuck, if i get a call about delivery’s, medication, doctors they all require me to be able to have a conversation on email and this is just not possible for me.

Do you know that you can pre-record messages so that you can send them in your calls? I suggest you make a message saying that you are a real deaf person, and that it's not a robot that you can send at the start of each call.

really great app
5/5 for the app. really easy to use and subtitles accurate. only slight complaint is how tough it is to turn speaker on at start of call. not easy to click as doesn’t respond properly to taps. takes a while to get it to react but overall a great app
would be good if you could set a default fir speaker auto activating but never mind
