Description

Level up your table top Role Playing Game experience!

Are you tired of carrying around huge books? Why should you, when you can keep all the stuff you need for an excellent RPG session right on your mobile device?

This app gives you the reference documents for Pathfinder, 5e, d20 Modern and d20 v3.5 in an easily accessible format. While your friends are struggling with heavy books and well hidden rules, use the lightning fast search or your very own bookmarks to settle all questions long before your fellow players have found where to begin reading their dead tree tomes.

Your awesomeness at looking up rules will become the stuff of legends!

Inside the app, hit the Settings tab in order to grab additional books to complement your collection.

Currently available systems:
- Pathfinder
- 5e
- d20 v3.5
- d20 Modern

What’s New

Version 5.6

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

- More good news! d20 Modern is now available in RPG Books!
- Fixed in-page search for 5e and d20 which accidentally broke in the previous release.
- Some other cantrip-sized layout tweaks.

Please keep the reviews, bug reports and feedback coming! It's what keeps a poor indie developer cranking out improvements! Is there a feature missing? Is there a system reference document which should be available in the app? Let me know.

Cheers from @ufisk

Indispensible

Fantastic app which cuts out the need to drag my heavy Pathfinder books around. The ability to quickly search through the many many rules is what really sells it for me. But two things, I really wish I could constrain my keyword searches to certain books rather than have the app trawl through the entire library (I refrained from purchasing many books as simple searches were bogging me down with too many results), secondly I wish the navigation bars would go away/didn't take up about 1/3 of the screen when reading in landscape mode. Those two points aside, this app has seen plenty of good use. Love it!

Pathfinder reference

This is a great app, while you are having to buy in app purchases, I really like the easy links on the touch screen to travel around the information which is much more intuitive to your iPad. I think it is well worth the money as it is quicker to move around the information that their competitor ( who is cheaper and has no in app purchases for updates of new books!) and that is very useful in real game time.

Great reference app

Ok, so the material is available for free online, but this is a nice interface for viewing and saving for later reference, especially if you regularly play somewhere without Internet access. When rules quibbles break out at the table, I'm usually the first one to get the details. Regularly updated with new features - the most recent to search specifically in a certain section of the rules, i.e. showing spells only, excluding equipment, feats etc. Very handy.
