• SecurID software OTP Credential generate one-time passwords that provide more reliable security than reusable passwords.

No Longer Functions on M1 Macs

This app used to work on M1 Macs, which was convenient. Many people would log on to their work virtual desktops using their personal Macs, and having SecurID installed on that same Mac negates the requirement of having a phone around to use as a software token.

This used to work in previous versions. Now the app reports that my Mac is "jailbroken" when it is in fact not. Can you please address this? Thanks.

Suggested improvement

On todays large screen phones, can the approve/decline buttons go back to the circles that were 2/3rds down the screen. Having them currently at the very bottom is awkward especially if the phone sits on a stand on your desk!

TheMasalaMan ,

No longer works on M1 Macs.

Can’t start it as it says the Mac is “jailbroken”. Good job.

UPDATE: Rather than fix the problem they have just removed the software from the Mac App Store. There are no alternatives on Mac (their software from their website looks like it’s from the 80s and doesn’t work).

This is embarrassing.
